Residents Should Expect DOES to Read Water Meters

Water MeterHudson residents should expect requests from the Summit County Department of Environmental Services (DOES) to read their water meters. DOES must do so in order to determine sewer charges. The DOES workers wear uniforms and ID badges to identify who they are. Please call DOES at 330-926-2400 with any questions.

BZBA Public Hearing: 5880 Eastham Way

The Board of Zoning and Building Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 19, 2015, 7:30 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room at Town Hall, 27 E. Main Street, Hudson, Ohio, to consider Appeals Docket No. 2015-13, for 5880 Eastham Way.

The request is a variance of four (4) feet to the minimum front yard setback of fifty (50) feet for a porch addition resulting in a structure being forty-six (46) feet from the front property line pursuant to Sections 1205.06(d)(5)(C)(i), “Setbacks: Minimum Front Yard Setbacks-Residential Uses: 50 feet” of the City of Hudson Land Development Code. The applicant and owner is Jeffrey and Jennifer Eiswerth, 5880 Eastham Way, Hudson, Ohio 44236 in District 3 [Outer Village Residential Neighborhood]. A copy of the application is on file in the Department of Community Development Office of the City of Hudson, 115 Executive Parkway, Suite 400, Hudson, Ohio 44236 and is available for public inspection.
