Students Graduate from Prestigious Hudson EMT Class

EMT Class Spring 2017

The 13 talented students of Hudson EMS’ Spring 2017 Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Class graduated the program on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. These outstanding students completed a rigorous 17-week education program that teaches the essentials of human anatomy and systems, life-saving methods, and emergency response.

The students were tested on both theory and live practical situations. The City’s human patient simulator provided realistic training situations and helped build skills and confidence in preparation for any emergency an EMT may encounter.

The knowledge obtained during the course will allow the students to take the National Registry of Emergency Technicians Certification Exam. Upon passing the exam, they will be certified as both National Registry and State of Ohio Emergency Medical Technicians. Many students will volunteer for Hudson EMS to put their skills to work and gain valuable experience.

Hudson EMS is a volunteer system that provides Emergency Medical Services for the City of Hudson and its visitors, and has one of the highest rated educational programs in the state. If you would like to become an Emergency Medical Technician, sign up for the fall course starting August 29, 2017. Applications will be accepted after July 15, 2017. Visit www.hudsonems.jobs for course information or to become a Hudson EMS volunteer.
