Public Right of Way The City Of Hudson’s Land Development Code identifies the right-of-way as a strip of land dedicated to and/or improved for vehicular and/or pedestrian travel by the public. A right-of-way permit must be obtained prior to the construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, removal or replacement of any culvert, sidewalk, apron or driveway on any public street or road right-of-way. A right-of-way permit is also required prior to the repair, replacement, installation or construction of utility services and sanitary/storm sewers. Right of Way
