Although the City of Hudson does not supply natural gas, the City does enter into agreements to provide gas at an aggregated price through a local gas supplier. Currently, Hudson has contracted with Direct Energy to provide gas to residents who enroll in the program at a rate of $4.958 per MCF. Seniors (over age 65) receive a reduced rate of $4.858 per MCF.
Beginning in November that rate will go down to $4.956 per MCF to replace the current price of $4.958. Seniors (over age 65) will receive a reduced rate of $4.856 per MCF. These prices will continue through the January 2014 bill.
