Hudson requires new Residential and Commercial customers to complete an application for Utility Services to activate an account.

New customers can submit the completed form online, bring the completed form to the Utility Billing Department or mail it to:

The Utility Billing Department is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday (with the exception of major holidays).


The Utility Billing Department can:
  • Accept applications for all City utility services
  • Accept payments for all City of Hudson utilities (water, sewer and electric)
  • Answer general utility billing questions
  • Maintain a payment drop box that is attached to the building at the front door

Bill and Payment Options

The City of Hudson bills on a monthly basis with payments due the 10th of every month. Hudson utility customers may pay their bill in the following ways:
  • In person with cash, check, credit card, or money order at the Utility Billing Office, located at 1140 Terex Road, Hudson, Ohio, 44236. (Amercian Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa accepted. A minimum convenience fee of $1 or 3% of the total amount will be charged per credit card transaction).
  • By calling the Utility Billing Office at 330-342-1710 and paying with a credit card.
  • By mailing the payment in the return envelope provided with your monthly statement
  • By submitting an Automatic Bank Draft Form - Monthly charges automatically deducted from your checking / savings account on due date of bill
