Construction Projects

The City of Hudson Engineering Department assists with the study, design and construction of numerous major infrastructure improvement projects (often referred to as Capital Improvement Projects) including storm water improvements, traffic upgrades, roadway and intersection improvements, and water distribution system improvements.   These infrastructure studies and projects are selected by project benefit, available funding, and other factors.

Annual Road Programs

The annual Asphalt Resurfacing Program and Concrete Program are yearly projects that aim to improve roadways throughout the City. Roads are selected for the project based on a rating system, with roads receiving the poorest ratings targeted for improvement. The City attempts to rate all asphalt streets every two years. Most asphalt streets in the City that are scheduled to be resurfaced fall within a range of a 30-55 rating.
