Since 1948, the Hudson Community Service Association (HCSA) has dedicated its time and effort to organize and collect donations for the many beautiful lights that adorn Hudson's downtown greens during the holiday season. In 2015, thanks to generous donations, we were able to switch to all LED bulbs. The significant decrease in electrical use allowed us to decorate two additional pine trees on the corner of 91 and 303.
Hudson Public Power donates its time to install the more than 8,000 lights and decorations which takes crews four weeks to complete. The annual expense of replacing electric cords, bulbs, bows and greenery is accomplished through donations from residents and the business community.
HCSA invites all to join our Hudson Light Brigade and continue this tradition.
Donations may be made at any time at the Hudson Visitor Center. 27 E. Main Street, or by mail to HCSA, PO Box 1472, Hudson, OH 44236. (Please put LIGHTING FUND in the memo line). HCSA is a 501c3 non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
Thank you from the City of Hudson to all those who donate to support this important effort.
