The Splash Pad at Veterans Way Park opened on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 and is ready for the children of Hudson to enjoy!
Location: Veterans Way Park, 55 Veterans Way, Hudson, OH 44236
Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
Due to the warm weather, the Splash Pad will be open until further notice. (Normally, the Splash Pad will be closed after Labor Day unless otherwise specified).

While enjoying the Splash Pad, please remember:
Children must have adult supervision at all times.
Wet surfaces may be slippery. Rubber-soled or water shoes are recommended.
Absolutely no glass containers in the Splash Pad area.
No Pets allowed in the Splash Pad area.
No running or rough play.
No skateboards, rollers blades, bicycles, or motorized vehicles allowed.
The Splash Pad may be closed at any time due to weather, maintenance, etc.

Beginning in Summer 2017, the children of Hudson will have a fun, new way to beat the heat: the City of Hudson and the Kiwanis Club of Hudson have partnered to create a new splash pad at Veterans Way Park. The splash pad location was chosen for its proximity to downtown Hudson, restrooms, parking, shade, and a pavilion.
The project originated with the Hudson Kiwanis, whose members approached the City about the club’s desire to donate to a sizable project for the City’s children. Club members discussed ideas with City administrators and ultimately decided on the splash pad. Kiwanis will make a substantial monetary contribution toward the $200,000 project. The City will pay for the remainder of the cost, and will pay for ongoing maintenance and repairs.
In the future, shade structures may be added around the splash pad.
