Hudson Fire Department hosted fire training for forty-three firefighters from Hudson, Stow, Streetsboro, and Twinsburg last week. The Live Fire Attack trailer from the State Fire Marshall's office allows firefighters to fight a contained live fire with real heat. Six instructors from around the state were provided by the Ohio Fire Academy. The firefighters practiced a transitional fire attack, a basement fire attack, and putting out a kitchen fire.
The simulation is a great tool to simulate real fire conditions. HFD members continue to hone their skills to be prepared for a real emergency.
