There are plenty of green tips and activities to look forward to at Green on the Green this weekend.
Learn how a rain garden uses native plants to rid storm water of pollutants, recharge the ground water supply, decrease storm water runoff, enhance the beauty of your yard, and more on Saturday on the Gazebo Green at 10 a.m. Babette Oestreicher, Tinkers Creek Watershed Coordinator, will lead the seminar and provide information about how you can make your own rain garden.
e-Waste will also be on-site to take electronics that are outdated and no longer needed. Bring any of the acceptable items listed at the link below to Green on the Green between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to dispose of them in an environmentally friendly way.
