The Burton D. Morgan Foundation is providing a way for HCTV viewers to enjoy a clearer, more reliable picture. The Foundation awarded a $27,000 grant to Hudson Community Television (HCTV) to purchase and install new transmission equipment and for entrepreneurial programming.
The new digital transmission equipment will provide an improved, reliable transmission signal, better control over broadcasts, and significantly improved picture quality. HCTV will be expanding its current programming with educational and informative programs to help businesses and entrepreneurs.
“With the help of this grant from the Burton D. Morgan Foundation, we will be able to improve the transmission quality of Hudson Community Television so we can provide a better experience for our viewers,” said Assistant Public Works Director Kevin Powell.
The transmission equipment is expected to be installed by May 2017.
Live streaming of HCTV programming is also available on the HCTV website. Visit the HCTV webpage to find out more ways you can tune in to HCTV programming and to see the programming schedules.
