Enter to win a colorful rain barrel hand-painted by Hudson High School students! Rain barrels are a great way to not only conserve water, but also an easy and practical way to control excess storm water and reduce the negative effects of pollution. The barrel collects water from a roof as it flow through a downspout.
The City of Hudson will be raffling off the barrel at the September 23 Hudson Farmers Market at noon, so there are plenty of chances to enter. Raffle tickets are $1 and are available for advance purchase at the Public Works Department (1769 Georgetown Road) or Destination Hudson located in Town Hall.
The rain barrel is on display at Destination Hudson during their regular hours, so stop by to check out the unique art and enter to win! Thank you to Hudson City Schools for the beautiful artwork and to Hudson Collision Center for clear coating the barrel.
