Each year, downtown Hudson is beautifully decorated for the holiday season with thousands of twinkling lights, festive greenery, and the famous Clock Tower mouse. The decorations would not be complete without the large tree in the Gazebo, creating a picturesque scene for Santa on the Green, carolers, and passersby.
The tree has been donated by Hudson resident Kathy Harrison for the last five years. She has lived in Hudson since 1959 and taught at Hudson Middle School for 17 years. The donated tree is from the Shawnee Trail Christmas Tree Farm on Terex Road. Mrs. Harrison’s family bought the tree farm property in 1938 and has been in the Christmas tree business since 1967.
The City of Hudson would like to thank Mrs. Harrison for her generous contribution. Take a trip downtown Hudson to enjoy the lovely holiday atmosphere, get into the holiday spirit, and start your holiday shopping.
