Mayor Basil proclaimed the week of October 15 as "See Something, Say Something Week". See Something, Say Something teaches students how they can make a difference in the safety of their school and the health of their friends and family by looking for warning signs, signals, and threats from individuals who may want to hurt themselves or others and to talk with a trusted adult to get help. Education and training about this important topic will continue at Hudson schools throughout the week.
Mayor Basil urges residents of all ages to recognize our shared responsibility to promote community safety and save lives by looking out for and caring for one another. See Something, Say Something Week is sponsored by Hudson Community First. Partners in this initiative include the City of Hudson, Hudson City Schools, Seton Catholic School and Hudson Montessori.
