The City of Hudson is committed to recycling, and the Hudson Environmental Awareness Committee is encouraging all Hudson residents to make a pledge to recycle in honor of America Recycles Day November 15. America Recycles Day is an initiative of Keep American Beautiful.
The American Recycles pledge involves vowing to learn more about what materials are collected for recycling in Hudson, reducing the amount of waste you produce by recycling more, buying products made of recycled materials, and encouraging family and friends to take the #BeRecycled pledge.
The pledge just takes a few minutes. To pledge go to the American Recycles Day website.
Did you know Hudson requires all City trash haulers to offer free curbside recycling? It’s a great, easy way to start recycling at home. All trash haulers provide single-stream recycling to help residents easily identify which items can be placed in the recycling container. Separating recyclables is no longer necessary.
Check the Recycling Services webpage for more recycling tips and information.
