The equipment used to livestream City Council and other board meetings is back online after an equipment failure a few weeks ago. Tonight's City Council Special Meeting and Workshop can be viewed in real-time here on the City’s website.
The six-year old server used to stream the City’s public meetings failed a few weeks ago. New equipment was ordered and installed this week. The cost to replace the unit was $4,500. The equipment is tied directly to the City’s agenda management software, increasing efficiencies and providing real-time access to Council meetings through the City’s website. The new equipment also allows higher-quality streaming capabilities.
