Reduce and Reuse!

Reusable

Did you know that reducing waste and reusing items saves energy, saves money, prevents pollution, and so much more? The most effective way to reduce waste is not to create it in the first place. Follow these tips from Hudson's Environmental Awareness Committee to help you work towards reducing waste:

  1. Buy used.
  2. Buy in bulk.
  3. Buy reusable instead of disposable items.
  4. Maintain and repair products.
  5. Borrow, rent or share items that are used infrequently.

For more information about how to reduce and reuse, visit https://www.epa.gov/recycle/reducing-and-reusing-basics.
