Coyote Season in Hudson

We are currently in the height of the coyote mating season, when they become more active. More sightings may also occur due to the mild winter. Coyotes have been in Hudson for many years and have rarely caused harm, but it is still important to be aware of the things you can do to stay safe.

While usually not aggressive to humans, they can be dangerous for small dogs and other small animals. Larger dogs can also become victims when several coyotes are together. It is best not to leave your pets outside unattended, particularly overnight.
