Ward 1 City Council member Kate Schlademan is seeking residents who live in Ward 1 and are interested in pedestrian and bicycle travel in Hudson to attend an input session on July 1. This resident input session will help review and update the current City-wide Connectivity Plan.

Those interested in participating may submit their name, address, phone number, and a brief note of why they would like to participate via email to Please submit your interest by Wednesday, June 24.

Once submissions have been received, 10 to 12 volunteers will be selected to attend the small group discussion. This same process is being conducted for all City Wards, with participants focusing on connectivity in their specific wards, and another group focusing on Hudson as a whole.

Residents not applying as a volunteer for the input sessions are encouraged to submit feedback, questions, and ideas regarding connectivity in Hudson at For more information about this effort and to find additional ways to participate, visit

The Connectivity Plan was first developed in 2013 to bring together a variety of separate plans into one unified approach. The committee formed at that time looked at trail and sidewalk segments throughout the City to enhance connectivity to the downtown, neighborhoods, and parks. Various segments were identified and ranked based on priority and cost. The Plan was most recently updated in 2018.
