BCC Dam Improvements Live Public Webinar to be Held 9/24

The City of Hudson will be hosting the first of a number of live webinars that discusses the upcoming Barlow Community Center Dam Improvement Project. The first webinar will be held on Thursday, September 24 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Another session will be held the same day from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for those who cannot make the earlier session.

Project information including dam safety improvements, increased storm water storage, and other project goals will be provided during the webinar. Residents will be able to tune in the live webinar to learn about the project and ask questions.

How to join the meeting, ask questions, find more information, and submit comments about the project:

  • Participate in Webinar: To sign up for the webinar and/or provide questions and comments, email your name, address and phone number to or call the City of Hudson Engineering Department at 330-342-1770 with this information by noon on Thursday, September 24th.
    • If signing up by email, please use “Barlow Community Center Dam Improvement Project” in the subject line.
    • After signing up for the webinar, attendees will be provided login information to join the Zoom meeting session. Participants will need access to a microphone through their phone, tablet, or computer to participate in the meeting.
    • Webinar participants will be able to ask questions through the online program and provide comments after a short presentation by City staff. Questions can be asked in written format.

Any submitted comments will be included into a public comment response record and included in a future letter to be mailed out after the webinar sessions are completed.
