City Council is currently accepting applications for new terms beginning this summer on the Park Board and Tree Commission. Applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 20.
Park BoardThe Hudson Park Board advises City Council on matters regarding Hudson parks. Members of the board are appointed by City Council to four-year staggered terms eligible for two re-appointments and serve without compensation.
Tree CommissionThe Tree Commission, upon request of City Council, City Manager, Planning Commission, etc., consider, investigate, make findings, and recommend on any matter concerning trees. The commission also develops a plan to educate the community regarding care of the urban forest of the City.
How to ApplyTo apply for the opening, please complete the online Boards and Commissions application. Alternatively, residents may print and fill out an application and return it to the Clerk of Council at City Hall, 1140 Terex Road, Hudson, OH 44236.
The deadline to apply is Thursday, May 20 at 4:30 p.m. To qualify, applicants must have been a Hudson resident for at least two years prior to the appointment and remain a resident during the entire term. Only registered voters will be considered for the openings.
