Public meeting attendees can now request a hearing-assist device to help them hear meeting audio more clearly. Anyone interested should arrive early and notify a City of Hudson Staff Member prior to the start of meetings at Town Hall, 27 E. Main Street. This service is free of charge; however, each user will be asked to provide a photo ID to be held by the City while the hearing-assist device is in use.
For sanitation purposes, the City encourages users to bring their own headsets to plug into hearing-assist devices which are compatible with any standard headset. If a user does not have their own headset, a single-use headset will be provided. Neck loops are also available for T-Coil capable hearing aids. Sanitizing wipes are available, and hearing-assist device units will be wiped down after each use.
