HUDSON, OH (August 6, 2021) In response to recent Mask Advisories issued by the CDC and Summit County Public Health, the Hudson City Manager is strongly recommending all City employees and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks while in City facilities beginning August 9. The CDC and Summit County Advisories were issued due to the rise in COVID cases both nationally and in Summit County.
While masking will not be mandatory, signs will be posted in City buildings to request masks be worn and social distancing protocols be followed. Masks will be provided for visitors who do not have masks.
City employees are asked to wear masks while in public hallways and common areas where six-foot social distancing cannot be maintained. Employees also are asked to wear masks when riding together in City vehicles and limit internal in-person meetings as much as possible.
Signs will be placed in City buildings, beginning August 9, 2021, to notify visitors of the change.
