HFD is Looking for Volunteer Firefighters

HFD Patch

We're looking for neighbors, not just heroes, to join our volunteer fire department. Make a difference in your community!

Are you ready to serve?

  • Either residency within the City of Hudson or at least 32 hours per week of employment within the City.
  • Minimum age of 18 and valid Ohio driver's license.
  • Completion of 36 hour certified Ohio Volunteer Firefighter course through Hudson Fire Department and passage of State of Ohio test within one year of appointment.
  • Annual compliance with minimum required hours of training and alarm responses per HFD Rules & Regulations.

Pay $13/hour (uniforms and  equipment provided). Applications will be accepted until December 15, 2021. See application and job description below.
