12/10/21 UPDATE:
The Residential Leaf Collection Program is being extended into the week of December 13 for a fourth and final round of pick-up due to inclement weather. To participate in the fourth and final pick-up, please read all the details below:
- For ALL quadrants: All leaves must be at your curb by 7 a.m. on Monday morning.
- Please place your leaves AWAY from trees, mailboxes, light posts, and fire hydrants to allow quick and efficient pick up.
- Please do not park vehicles in the street if you have a leaf pile set out for collection.
- Once the leaf trucks pass your street, which can be at any time during the week of December 13, they will not return this year.
At the end of next week, our trucks will be converted to snow plows and the leaf trailers will be stored for the winter. Thank you for helping us have a great leaf season and for your patience during the weather delays.
Expired Update 12/3/21: The Residential Leaf Collection Program is currently running one week behind. Leaf crews are still finishing up the NE and SW quadrants due to weather and holiday delays. We are hoping to start in the NW and SE quadrants tomorrow, Saturday, December 4, to get a jump start on next week's pick up. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we catch up.
Expired Update 11/30/21: Leaf collection will resume on Wednesday, December 1 in the Northeast and Southwest quadrants of the City. Once the Northeast and Southwest quadrants are complete, we will move on to the final collection of the Northwest and Southeast quadrants. Please uncover leaf piles and remove any snow. Collection will be slower than normal due to cold temperatures and any leftover snow. Thank you for your patience as we catch up.
Expired Update 11/29/21: Due to poor weather conditions, leaf collection is suspended until better conditions allow for pick up. The same trucks we use for leaf collection have been switched over to snow plows to handle the recent snow and ice. We are hoping to resume collection later this week if weather allows. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
