- Hudson Snapshot. The Hudson Snapshot report has been prepared to serve as a resource for strategic priority discussions and the upcoming Comprehensive Plan. City Staff presented the Hudson Snapshot report to Council that provided a look at current demographics, statistics, zoning, utilities, and other information. The Snapshot can be viewed at www.hudson.oh.us/HudsonSnapshot2022.
This data will be used as the City begins to move forward on the Comprehensive Plan process. In March, City staff will come back to Council with information about a proposed process, timeline, public engagement and other items for Council to discuss. - SR 303 Safety Study. Council requested a discussion of the State Route 303 Safety Study performed by the Ohio Department of Transportation. Council members in attendance had several comments and questions, and staff incorporated the Council comments into their overall review and submitted them to ODOT this week.
Future Agenda Items
- Staff will be bringing the request to purchase Fire Department Breathing Apparatus before Council and with emergency language. The current apparatus will expire in the middle of August and we need time to order the new equipment. HFD has received a $175,000 grant toward purchasing the equipment that was budgeted for $300,000. The anticipated total cost will be approximately $275,000.
