Mayor Resigns; Council Seeking Applicants

Mayor Craig Shubert notified the City that he has resigned as Mayor of the City of Hudson, effective Monday, February 14, 2022. Mayor Shubert served the City of Hudson for two years and two months. The City of Hudson thanks Mayor Shubert for his service and wishes him well in his future endeavors.

Hudson City Council is accepting applications to fill the position of Mayor of Hudson until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 11. Applicants must be a Hudson resident for at least the last two years, be a registered voter, and remain a resident of Hudson during the entire term. For a description of the Mayor of Hudson's duties, visit Hudson Charter Section 4.02.

Council will review the applications and appoint an individual who will serve until the November 2022 General Election, where the Mayor's position would be up for a vote of the people. 

To apply, please fill out the online application here. Applications must be submitted with an attached resume online no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 11.
