Council Comments

  • Council mentioned that the City is working on a redesign of the Ravenna Street property ponds. Staff is looking into a resident’s request to temporarily lower the ponds for some relief during flooding.

  • The Architectural and Historic Board of Review approved the demolition of the wine store on First Street. Peg’s Foundation improvements are moving forward.
  • Council would like staff to explore the sewer rates for homes on well water. Can they get meters? Can they get a reduced rate? A council member asked staff to reach out to Summit County to see if something can be negotiated.
  • The Park Board had a presentation on Hudson Springs Park and creating a Pollinator Meadow to encourage the growth of natural species in the area. They are recommending that the dog run be used to promote new growth.
