HUDSON, OH (April 12, 2022) – At the April 12, 2022 Special Meeting, Hudson City Council appointed Jeffrey Anzevino as Mayor to fill the position vacated by former Mayor Craig Shubert. Mayor Anzevino will preside over his first Council meeting the evening of Tuesday, April 19.
The appointment runs until the November 2022 General Election, at which time voters will elect a Mayor to serve out the previous full term through 2023.
A seven-year resident of Hudson, Mr. Anzevino currently serves on the Architectural and Historic Board of Review. He has spent many years volunteering for organizations such as the Geauga County Humane Society, Hudson Girl Scout troops, and various Hudson Schools events. He has more than 30 years’ experience with a technical business and is currently a technical business consultant for manufacturing clients at JITOCE LLC. Mr. Anzevino is married with two children in the Hudson Schools.
“We are pleased to have Jeff on board to serve our community,” said Council President Chris Foster. “Jeff has already provided his time, talent, and energy to the AHBR in addition to acting as community liaison for The River Oaks development when friends and neighbors try to navigate issues that come up in a new development. He will make a wonderful addition as our 57th mayor.”
