AKRON, Ohio (June 28, 2022) – Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh announced the return of her successful Arrive Alive program for the July 4 holiday weekend to help keep drunk or impaired drivers off the road. “Arrive Alive” offers free rides home to give people a safe option and prevents them from drinking alcohol and getting behind the wheel.
The Summit County Prosecutor’s Office is again teaming up with Summit County Sheriff Kandy Fatheree to use the ride-share service LYFT to provide free and reduced fare rides home in Summit County for anyone who has had too much to drink while celebrating the July 4th holiday.

WHEN: From 6am Sunday July 3, 2022 to 6am Tuesday July 5, 2022
HOW: 400 one-time use LYFT Codes for FREE or Reduced Fare Ride home (up to $20) – USE CODE SUMMITJULY422
