HUDSON, OH (June 29, 2022) – The Hudson Senior Network has announced an exciting program lineup for seniors (over age 60) this summer. All regular Senior events are held on Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. in the Hudson City Hall community room at 1140 Terex Road, Hudson. Speakers begin at noon. • July 13 – Learn about skin cancer and caring for summer skin from Dermatologist Dr. Alison Durham. Free lunch will be served.
• July 27 – Sage Learning, a life-long learning program geared to seniors, will discuss what they do and how to get involved. Cookies and coffee will be available.
• August 10 – Dr Lawrence Saltis will discuss the importance of sleep as we age. Free lunch provided.
• August 24 – Looking for that next terrific book to read? Join us for the Best Books of 2022 with Kate Schlademan from the Learned Owl. Cookies and coffee provided.
Big Band Music Night – September 14
Mark your calendars for an incredibly special Hudson Senior Network event on the evening of Wednesday, September 14, at the Hudson City Hall community room. The Western Reserve Big Band with a vocalist will play all the old favorites. Appetizers and drinks will be served, and if the weather permits, we will open up the patio for dancing. Doors open at 6:30, and the band will play at 7:00 p.m. This is one you don’t want to miss!
