The SR 91 South Widening project between Stoney Hill Drive and Barlow Road will be starting today. Two-way traffic along SR 91 will be maintained during the project. Here’s a project timeline.
- Week of September 12. Set up of the portable message boards, survey staking, and starting of temporary drainage work along the west side of the roadway. Minimal traffic impacts are anticipated during the first week of the project.
- Week of September 19. Installation of temporary pavement along the west side of the roadway. Temporary lane closures and the use of flaggers will be used during this phase of the work.
- September through November. Two-way traffic will be maintained with traffic shifted onto the temporary pavement. The contractor will be reconstructing the east side of 91 including improvements to the storm system, roadway repairs, new curb, sidewalk, and driveway aprons.
