The Hudson Police Department is bringing back the Holiday Food and Gift Drive starting Tuesday, November 1 through Saturday, December 31!
We will be issuing Holiday Food and Gift Drive vouchers in lieu of traffic tickets and typical written warnings for minor traffic violations again this holiday season.
This is the third year of the Holiday Food and Gift Drive, and we hope it will be as successful as prior years. We request that individuals receiving the vouchers donate the items below for families in need:
- New, unopened toy for a child
- Gas gift card
- Grocery store gift card
Donating is strictly voluntary.
Anyone who has been issued a voucher can voluntarily contribute by dropping off their donation to the Hudson Police Department, 36 South Oviatt Street, Hudson 44236.
Recipients can include struggling families, senior citizens with no family, or any individual in need. The Police Department works with community organizations to identify those who will benefit from the effort, including children who would otherwise not receive gifts during the holidays. The true spirit of the holiday comes from giving back, giving thanks, and helping those in need. Thank you for helping make this program a success!
