Hudson's Public Works Department has been preparing for the incoming winter storm estimated to arrive in our area late Thursday into Friday morning. Both the Service and Hudson Public Power Divisions are readied and on call to respond to winter road conditions and potential power outages. We are fully supplied with road salt and brine. The downtown, City cul-de-sac, and public facilities snow contractors are also ready to respond accordingly.
What to Expect
Storm predictions currently include a Winter Storm Warning with rain changing over to snow, dropping temperatures, and high winds beginning late Thursday and lasting into early Sunday morning. Temperatures and wind chills will be at dangerous levels for being outdoors. High winds will cause blowing and drifting snow.
