As you may have noticed, the contractor for the SR 91 South Widening Project has shifted traffic onto the new pavement section along the east side of the road. Vehicles are no longer utilizing the temporary pavement along the west side of the road.
Traffic barrels will remain along the west edge of the roadway until the west side of SR 91 is reconstructed this spring.
During the winter months, the contractor will continue to monitor the work zone including any barrel maintenance or other construction related needs. The contractor may perform underground work such as storm sewer installation, electric conduit installation, and light pole foundation work as the weather permits. Minimal disruptions to traffic are anticipated during the winter.
