Summit County property owners should have received information about the state-mandated triennial reappraisal update which will become effective for 2023 tax year/2024 calendar year. Property owners will begin to receive their value change notices in early August if their property has a change in value.
Summit County Fiscal Officer Kristen Scalise invites property owners to schedule a meeting with an appraiser to discuss their new appraised value. At that time, property owners will have the opportunity to file an informal complaint on their new appraised value and address any concerns they have with County Fiscal Office appraisers.
Property owners can meet with an appraiser in one of three ways: virtually, via phone call, or in person at one of the community meeting locations that are listed on the attached notice.
