Today, Hudson Velocity Broadband celebrated adding its 500th customer to the City’s all-fiber internet network. Owned and operated by the City of Hudson, Velocity Broadband was established in 2015 to meet the internet demands of the growing Hudson business community.
Now celebrating its 8th anniversary, Velocity has installed more than 60 miles of fiber to provide outstanding, reliable internet service to Hudson businesses, allowing them to thrive and succeed in today’s business environment. Over 50% of all Hudson businesses now rely on Velocity for their broadband and telecommunication needs.
Since its inception, Hudson Velocity Broadband has become a regional municipal leader in its commitment to provide broadband expertise, technological knowledge, and superior customer service to its customers.
On Tuesday, Hudson Mayor Jeffrey Anzevino issued a proclamation honoring Velocity Broadband for its successful growth and connecting its 500th customer.
Velocity’s 500th customer is Revival Room, a new concept cocktail bar offering small plates that will open later this month on Main Street in Hudson. Revival Room is operated by the owners of Oak and Embers.
