At the January 16 City Council Meeting, former Ward 1 Councilwoman Katherine Schlademan and former Ward 4 Councilman Scott Ruffer were recognized for their dedicated service to the City of Hudson. Mayor Jeffrey Anzevino presented both Councilmembers with resolutions honoring and thanking them for their service to the Hudson community.
Ms. Schlademan, who was elected to City Council in 2019, served as Council Liaison to multiple boards and committees, including the H.O.M.E. Committee and Architectural & Historic Board of Review. As a small business owner in Hudson, she came to Council with a unique background of interacting with City officials, visitors, and residents in the community.
Mr. Ruffer, who was appointed in February 2023 to fill a vacancy, served on multiple boards and commissions, including the Cemetery Board and Personal Advisory & Appeals Board. As a longtime resident of Hudson, he enjoyed giving back to the community by serving on City Council. Prior to his time as a Council Member, Mr. Ruffer served on the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee.
