  1. Fairy Door Trick-or-Treat

October 15, 2020, 8:00 AM - October 31, 2020 @ Hudson Businesses that have Fairy Doors with Pumpkins!

This event is spread out from October 15-31 & is taking the place of the Merchants of Hudson Trick-or-Treat this year. Bring your kids in costume (with masks). Any merchant who has a pumpkin by their Fairy Door will offer treats! Check the Fairy Door Map & visit the orange businesses.

“The Merchants of Hudson have made the difficult decision to cancel our annual merchant trick or treat event”, said Kendra Altomare, President of the Merchants of Hudson Association. “Given the large crowd size & limited space on the sidewalks, we just could not find a safe way to meet the guidelines necessary for social distancing. Our merchants have all been affected by the pandemic, & we love to celebrate Halloween with the community, however asking these small business owners to put their staff, the families, & children at risk & to take on the additional expenditure for 2000+ pieces of candy seemed insensitive. We look forward to having many new & perennial events in 2021!”
